Low Testosterone Symptoms In Men – Do You Have Low T?

By: Victor Mayfield

I have been hearing about low testosterone or ‘low t’ for some time now so I figured I’d investigate and see what all of the fuss is about.

The reason we are all hearing about this “new” thing called ‘low t’ is that there are several products available, including a prescription testosterone injection.  When there is lots of advertising there must be money being made, so lets follow the money trail.

What all (or most) of the advertising is telling you is that if your testosterone is low (and this includes women to some extent) then you probably have all kinds of problems.  You can even take a “low t test” and see if you have any of the symptoms.

Low T Symptoms

Your alleged Low T Symptoms include:

  • Low sex drive and weak erections
  • Not as much physical stamina as you used to have?
  • Tired or feeling drained all or most of the time?
  • Getting a “spare tire” or gaining weight?
  • Trouble sleeping?
  • Is your memory getting worse?
  • Feeling unmotivated in most every aspect of your life?
  • Having panic attacks?
  • Feeling anxious?
  • Do you frequently feel “blue” or depressed?
  • No confidence?  Avoiding personal contact with others?
  • Lack of a sense of purpose in life?

Of course the lists go on and on, but the above covers most of what the product promoters are telling you could be your problem.  It’s Low T of course!

One thing I can tell you from personal experience is that most if not all of the above “problems”  can be solved by getting yourself on a consistent exercise routine.

Seriously.  Get off your butt and hold off on that beer until after your workout.  Your workout doesn’t have to be anything serious.  You don’t need to go to the gym.  Start with 10 pushups.  Jump rope.  Go for a walk around the block.  Once you make an effort to get active again you’ll start to feel better.

There is an excellent article about this line of thought as well as other causes of low T over on the Washington Blog.

Once you start to feel better then you can start taking a testosterone booster or supplement.   It will help with your energy level which should help with keeping you motivated to exercise more.  This is the reason many guys who are into lifting weights and building muscle are starting to take these supplements or in many cases testerone creams, which by all accounts seem to give the best results if you spend any time reading testimonials and reviews.

Do Low T Boosters Work?

Once you get past the all of the advertising fluff there does seem to be something to it, but in my opinion none of these over the counter treatments are going to do much for you if you don’t get off your rapidly expanding ass and get some exercise.

Once your metabolism is raised from all of the new exercising you are doing you’ll probably find that you really don’t have any need for extra testosterone because your body will be producing more of it naturally.  If not, then go ahead and get some and see if it helps you out.

Many of the reports, reviews, and testimonials from actual users report not only an increase in energy and a better outlook on life, but also an increased libido.  I guess it only makes sense as many of these products have very similar ingredients to the top selling male enhancement products being promoted.

So if you think that you are showing signs of low testosterone, and you have determined that the cause is not due to a lack of exercise, then by all means go ahead and try one of these natural testerone boosters and see if it helps kick your engine back into gear.

What is the best Low T Booster?

I have been reviewing some of the fine (and not so fine) low testosterone boosters available.  At this point I have nothing that I can recommend to you.  If anyone has been using a certain brand and can give a testimonial please make a comment below.

Good luck out there,

Victor Mayfield

UPDATE:

I wrote this article in November of 2011 and in January of 2012 I started taking a product called Provacyl that was recommended by one of my readers.  (thanks Barry)

I did a Provacyl review that you might want to take a look at.
